Celebrity at Monticello...

This past week has been such a blur that I almost forgot to mention that we had a celebrity shopper in...Tori Spelling! She came in and bought a truck load of treasures!  She was very sweet and kind and absolutely loved the mall.  She and her family were in Portland for her brother's wedding.  Thank you Tori for twittering about your visit!  Come back soon!

As I mentioned in the last post, our salvage garden is going through a transformation after the Fall show and lots of "Kool" stuff is pouring in.  The mall also has some great new stuff this week so come see what's new!

Salvage Garden Makeover...

The show has come to an end and everyone is tearing down and packing up.  But, don't be sad because we're bringing in all your favorite chippy, rusty, painted and primitive furniture, including architectural pieces,oddities, iron, industrial and so much more!  The transformation starts this week so come see what's new this weekend!

If you missed the final BARN HOUSE show of the season, you still have a chance to buy their wears here at Monticello.  They'll be with us through the end of the month in the front window, Barn House style!

Fall Show Finale...

Our Fall Premier Show is still going strong but it's coming to an end on Sunday.  Everyone has restocked for the final finale so come on in this weekend.  Fall is here and it's time to decorate the home in fall colors and get it warm and cozy for the nesting season.  Take a walk through Monticello and you'll see so many inspiring displays and ideas for Fall decorating.  Come visit us and get inspired!

And speaking of show finales and inspiration, the boys of BARN HOUSE are having their final show of the year at their Battle Ground location on Saturday, Sept. 25th.  It's going to be grand so don't miss it!  Go here for more information and directions.

FALL IS IN THE AIR...

Can I just say W O W!  What a great turn out we had for the opening of our Fall Premier Show.  We had lots of happy customers by the looks of all the treasures flying out of here! But not to worry if you haven't made it in yet because everyone has been busy bringing in more great treasures and restocking all week so don't feel like you missed out.  The show runs through the 26th and will be stocked full until the end so don't miss it!  I'll leave you with more "eye candy".  Remember...we're open everyday!           ~Joyce

FALL PREMIER SHOW!

Well it's almost here!  We're gearing up for our Fall Premier Show and it'll be here sooner than you think!  It all begins Friday, September 10th with 16 guests in the Salvage Garden.  These talented guests aim to please and bring nothing but the best to these special events.  There will be plenty for all but you'll want to come early.  Stay tuned for our guest list and more information on this Fall event!  We'll be mailing out postcards next week.  Are you on our mailing list?

Salvage Garden Clearance!!

We're clearing out the Garden to make room for our upcoming Fall Premier Show beginning September 10th!  We marked down a lot of our inventory and we're still marking it down to blow it out so hurry in and get in on the bargains.  Will we take less for an item?  Just ask!  There's so much stuff I can't list it all but here's a few pictures to give you an idea. More information to follow on the BIG show!  Stayed tuned!  ~Joyce

A Shout Out to the Boys of Barn House

A BIG Kudoz to Joe & Jermonne for a fabulous show on Saturday.  All of us at Monticello who were guest vendors at this amazing event would like to thank you for sharing your beautiful home and property and being such gracious hosts to all of us and the hundreds of eager shoppers who came out.  There was so much great stuff that most shoppers didn't even mind waiting in the mile long line of cars waiting to get in!  You even went the extra mile and started shuttling customers who had to park a mile away! Now that's service!  What a GREAT day in the country.  I put just a couple of pictures on from the show but check out some of the other dealer blogs that have already posted some great pictures.  Let's do it all over again next year!

Barn House Flea Market!

Listen up everyone! The long awaited Barn House Flea Market is Saturday, July 31st and you're in for a big treat.  This is one of the most anticipated shows of the year and if you know the "Boyz", you know they don't do anything half-assed!  They have a fantastic line-up of 25 hand-picked guests for this show, including ten of Monticello's best dealers (including myself!). It is truly an honor to be part of this great event. If you shopped it  last year, you know how fabulous it is but this year will be even more fabulous!  If you've never been, then be prepared to be amazed.  There will be great food and drink on-hand as well.  Grab your girlfriends and bring a truck because you'll need it!  Come early and make a day of it in this beautiful country setting.  It all begins at 9:00 and goes until 2:00p.  For more information and directions go here or come in and pick up a postcard.  You really don't want to miss this one!  See you there!
