Barn House Flea Market!

Listen up everyone! The long awaited Barn House Flea Market is Saturday, July 31st and you're in for a big treat.  This is one of the most anticipated shows of the year and if you know the "Boyz", you know they don't do anything half-assed!  They have a fantastic line-up of 25 hand-picked guests for this show, including ten of Monticello's best dealers (including myself!). It is truly an honor to be part of this great event. If you shopped it  last year, you know how fabulous it is but this year will be even more fabulous!  If you've never been, then be prepared to be amazed.  There will be great food and drink on-hand as well.  Grab your girlfriends and bring a truck because you'll need it!  Come early and make a day of it in this beautiful country setting.  It all begins at 9:00 and goes until 2:00p.  For more information and directions go here or come in and pick up a postcard.  You really don't want to miss this one!  See you there!

Okay, we're having a debate here at Monticello.  Nobody seems to know what he is.  I say he because he has little horns (and a little somethin else attached to him!).  He's not just your typical deer.  I have my guess but I want to see what you come up with.  So come on....help us out here.  What do think.  What is it?  I'll keep you all posted.

Is it Summer Yet????

Are you tired of the rainy Summer?  WHAAAaaa!  It's just not fair but I guess we should all be used to it living in the great Pacific Northwest.  Looking on the bright side... if we didn't have all this rain, we wouldn't have all the great mossy, crusty rusty stuff that we love so much.  Like these beautiful old mossy statuaries and rusty cabinet.  Come see our latest treasures in the garden and throughout the mall.  Check out our fabulous Potting Shed!  Enjoy the pictures!

Flea Market Sunday!

If you're looking for a good ole Flea Market this weekend, I know where you'll find one! Monticello is sponsoring a European Flea Market on Sunday, June 13th from 10-5p in the Chevy Store Parking lot across the street from us! All proceeds benefit the Oregon Spay/Neuter Fund to end pet overpopulation. Monti's Cafe will also be donating a portion of the proceeds. Darcey, from Monticello, is hosting this event and has been collecting a ton of treasures. It's going to be BIG and the weather will be sunny! Come on out and join us for this good cause. This is one Flea market you don't want to miss!

Holy Moly! We're turning 10 years old this weekend and we're celebrating with cake and a storewide sale beginning Saturday, May 29th! A big gracious Thank you to all of our loyal customers and fabulous dealers who have supported us all these years and made us Portland's premier antique venue. Our sale begins Saturday the 29th and runs through Monday, May 31st.  Hope to see you this weekend!

New Arrivals...

The Marketplace has been filled to the brim this week with some great stuff!  We have added some new pieces to our furniture showroom and lots of great stuff in the Salvage Garden!  We have patio sets, picnic tables, chaise lounges, a great selection of deck and garden chairs, arbors, benches and so much more.  Our dealers have been loading their spaces full of great finds as well.  Take a look at the pictures for a visual tour.  You know the ole saying; "You snooze, you lose"!  Come see what's new!  We're open everyday!

A Mothers Day Weekend...

Make this a special weekend for Mom and take her on a shopping spree that she deserves.  First on the list is a magical Spring show in the country.  I'm talking about the Boys of Barnhouse.  Yes, the boys are at it again and this time they're presenting a special Spring Opening Show on Saturday, May 8th, on their beautiful 5 acre farm. Salvage Garden Makeover...

Our Home & Garden show has come to an end and I have to say that this one was one of our best shows ever.  We can't thank our valued customers enough.  We couldn't do this without our incredibly talented dealers and guest exhibitors.  Thank you all so much for putting your heart and soul into this show and making it a huge success.  You're the best!
The transformation of the salvage garden begins this week as we start filling it with picnic tables, patio sets, garden benches, deck chairs, garden art, architectural elements, primitive furniture, unique found objects and so much more.  Come see what's new this weekend!
