Monticello presents "An Old Fashioned Christmas Show" & Storewide Sale beginning Friday, November 30th at 8:00 a.m. The storewide sale runs through Monday, December 3rd. Our Christmas show in the garden area runs through the month of December and features 14 fabulous exhibitors! Mark your calendar for this one.

Fall is Here.....
It's that time of year again when the leaves start turning and we all start thinking ahead to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yes, I said Christmas, can you believe it already! It's time to put away the deck furniture and bring in the plants.
Fall is in the air at Monticello as we get ready for the holidays. Monticello Antique Marketplace has some of the best dealers on the planet. They know how to decorate and they have the best merchandise around. Our dealers are busy bringing in the holiday merchandise so that you can start shopping and decorating for the holiday parties and family gatherings.
But the best is yet to come! In December, our Salvage Garden is transformed into a Christmas Winter Wonderland where we hold our annual Christmas Show the whole month. If you've ever attended this show in the past, this year is bigger and better than ever! This year we are excited to feature 14 Guest Exhibitors with some of the best vintage Christmas around. You won't want to miss this one. The first day of the show is Friday, November 30th. Come early, we open a 8:00a.m. We are also having a 3-day storewide sale that weekend so mark your calendar. If you're on our mailing list, you will get a post card in the mail.
Come in and see us. We just got lots of new inventory. If you're looking for something special, we have a great staff happy to find it for you or we'll put you on our personnel shopper list and call you when it comes in! See you soon.

I thought the following information was interesting enough to share with you. According to a survey conducted by the company A.C. Nielsen;
- 66% of collectors are female
- 59% work part-time or full-time
- 18% are retired
- 8% are enrolled in college
- The average age of collectors is 44
- 27% consider collecting to be their favorite pastime
- 30% got interested in antiquing through a family member
- 43% say collecting is part of the fun of vacationing & travel
- 49% consider their collections to be an investment
- 26% have found great stuff on the curb or in a trash bin
